Position Summary
As Head of Product Design & UX, you will be responsible for defining and executing our design strategy, ensuring a best-in-class user experience across all digital touchpoints. You will lead and mentor a growing design team in India while collaborating with cross-functional teams in the US. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, design leadership, and hands-on execution to enhance customer engagement and business impact. The right candidate will be a visionary with the proven ability to design products that create impact and deliver exceptional value to the end customer.
The Head of Product Design & UX will report directly toSenior Vice Presidenton the global leadership team and will work closely with the GCC Site Leader to support the company's objectives and initiatives.
Main responsibilities
Design Strategy & Leadership

• Drive design vision, strategy, planning, and execution for customer-facing end points for mobile and site
• Define and implement a cohesive UX/UI strategy that aligns with global business goals and customer needs.
• Establish and raise design standards, principles, and best practices to ensure consistency across platforms (web, mobile, and app).
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing UX/UI team in India to design new and existing products, overseeing all aspects of the design lifecycle.
• Advocate for user-centered design and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive UX benchmarks, and emerging technologies in digital grocery and e-commerce.

Leading Product Design Team in India and Cross-Border Collaboration

• Create a customer-obsessed culture and act as the primary advocate for the customer relentlessly.
• Ensure smooth communication across time zones, bridging gaps between India and US teams, and working closely with US-based design, product and business.
• Influence product and business strategy through design concepts, research findings, and UX improvements.

User Research& Experience Optimization

• Lead user research team efforts, including customer interviews, usability testing, and A/B testing, to inform design decisions.
• Utilize behavioral data and analytics to refine customer journeys and improve conversion rates.
• Drive accessibility, usability, and personalization enhancements through design system.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• 15+ years of experience delivering high quality designs.
• Track record (5+ years) of managing teams of designers, content design and researchers.
• Has led design sprints, team brainstorming, and ideation exercises.
• Closely collaborated with executive and product leadership to develop strategy and rationale for large and complex initiatives.
• Collaborated with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid growth environment.
• Track record of using data and quantitative research methodologies to inform decision making across the entire product design process/lifecycle.
• Domain knowledge of the e-commerce and/or food delivery sectors or understanding of the complexities of a
• improvements and process automation.
