Position reports to: Department Manager

Due to a consistent increase in demand, we are presently expanding our MES Team and are looking for enthusiastic new team members with a proven track record in Discrete MES, gained in the Mining, SOALR, and Semiconductor and other manufacturing industries.

This position is a Mumbai based position and offers varied work within a diverse range of exciting projects.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical/Process Engineering

Minimum 10 years' experience in discrete MES in either Mining, Solar PV manufacturing, Semiconductor Industry or other Manufacturing industries.

Experience in implementation of various modules of MES including order management, bill of materials, quality management, process routing, work instructions, change and configuration management, resource management, tooling calibration, production dispatch.

Experience with any major MES software (Siemens Opcenter Execution, Proficy Manufacturing Execution Systems, SAP Manufacturing Execution, Werum PAS-X MES Suite, Delmia Apriso, Aveva MES)

Experience in integrating and designing the interfaces between MES and manufacturing equipments

Experience in customizing the MES solution

Minimum two (4) end-to-end project implementation

Experience in MESA and ISA 95 MES Standards

Experience in integration MES solution with ERP

Motivated self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised and manage small teams when required.

A high level of written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated project management experience

Ability to effectively manage client relationships

Qualifications

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

High level implementation experience or knowledge in two or more of the following software products:

o Data historians: OSIsoft PI, Honeywell PHD, Yokogawa Exaquantum

o Data analytics or data visualization tools

o Knowledge in implementation of Data Analytics using AI/ML

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Foster and promote a one-team culture across the organisation

Support the building of collaborative relationships both internal and external by providing facilitation services

Support continuous improvement and innovation activities

Assist business development with the preparation of reports, findings and recommendations

Seek opportunities for growth across current and new clients through building relationships based on integrity and exceeding client expectations

Provide input into proposals and bids

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Define the criteria for implementing MES (conducting assessment)

Gather business requirements for MES implementation

Map the requirements to functional & technical designs (sharing the best practices)

Testing (sharing development best practices)

System Integration Testing and Factory Acceptance Testing

Define the deployment strategy
