Digital Marketing Role - Key Responsibilities

A Digital Marketing professional is responsible for promoting a brand, product, or service through online channels to generate leads, sales, and brand awareness. Main responsibilities include:

1. Strategy & Planning

Create and execute digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals Plan monthly/quarterly campaigns and budgets Identify target audience and customer journey
2. Social Media Marketing

Manage social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) Create content calendars and post regularly Run paid social media ads Engage with followers and respond to queries/comments
3. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Improve website ranking on Google Keyword research and on-page SEO Optimize content, meta tags, and backlinks Monitor website traffic and performance
4. Paid Advertising (PPC)

Run Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other paid campaigns Monitor ad performance, CTR, and ROI Optimize ads to reduce cost and improve conversions
5. Content Marketing

Plan and create content (blogs, posts, videos, emails) Ensure content is SEO-friendly and brand-consistent Coordinate with designers and content writers
6. Email Marketing

Create email campaigns and newsletters Manage mailing lists and automation Track open rates, click rates, and conversions
7. Analytics & Reporting

Track campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports Analyze data and suggest improvements
8. Lead Generation & Conversion

9. Market & Competitor Analysis
