: Your Role & Responsibilities will be as follows: Patient Dietary Care & Communication
Daily checking of In-patient medical record, meeting patient
Responsible for providing nutritional diet to patients based on medical advice
Coordinate with food services for the prescribed diet preparations.
Generate and provide written communication of patient diets to the food service attendants as per the time schedule.
Performance Indicators Implementation for Service Delivery Standard
To coordinate with food service manager in establishing procedures for smooth functioning and guiding in preparation of right therapeutic diets.
In - patient nutritional assessment TAT.
Nutritional counseling at the time of discharge based on medical advice
Patient feedback
To efficiently utilizing the hospital information system to increase the efficiency of the department
Dietary Compliances:
Everyday monitoring biochemical reports
Weekly follow up of OPD, IPD, Health checkup
Monthly/ Half yearly/ Yearly Follow Up
Implementation of Quality Management System:
Re - certification of ISO 9001: 2008.
Project planning and execution of NABH Accreditation of NSSH.
Implementation of quality indicator monitoring system.
Participate in/Convene following unit - level committees as required:
Daily morning meeting of operations team.
Monthly Information System.
Prepare the 'MIS of Diet departments and communicate it to the Management.
Special projects:
Take initiatives to present nutritional knowledge to masses
Nutritional training program to other distant centre through Tele - Conferencing for Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) in different illness
Support Services:
Food services delivery as per standard time schedule ensuring right food to right patient within a defined time and root cause analysis of variations tracked using a TAT tracker.
Monitoring of food quality through external lab testing.
