Senior DevOps/Kubernetes Engineer
Role Overview
The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for architecting, automating, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, and deployment processes across microservices and data platforms. The role requires deep knowledge of Kubernetes (OKD/EKS) and hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for enterprise-scale delivery automation, observability, and governance.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ensuring reliable build, test, and deployment automation across environments.
• Manage containerized applications on Kubernetes (OKD/EKS), ensuring scalability, security, and resilience.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or CloudFormation, integrating with AWS and hybrid systems.
• Collaborate with Developers, Cloud Architects, and Security teams to standardize environment configurations and deployment workflows.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Dynatrace.
• Set up and enforce security controls, secret management, and RBAC within Kubernetes and DevOps pipelines.
• Manage artifact repositories, container registries, and pipeline templates for multi-project consistency.
• Drive cost optimization, autoscaling, and disaster recovery strategies for production clusters.
• Contribute to DevSecOps adoption and continuous improvement of automation maturity.

Technical Skills

• Mandatory:

• Kubernetes (EKS/OKD) administration and troubleshooting.
• Azure DevOps pipelines (YAML-based), Git branching, and release orchestration.
• Terraform / CloudFormation for Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Docker, Helm, and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD / Flux).
• Good to Have:

• AWS stack (ECR, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• ELK / Dynatrace / Prometheus / Grafana for observability.
• Experience with secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
• Familiarity with Blue-Green / Canary deployments, feature flags, and pipeline security gates.

Experience

• 8 12 years of experience in DevOps and automation engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing Kubernetes (EKS/OKD) in production.
• Proven experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and cloud-native CI/CD architecture.
• Exposure to fintech, banking, or high-availability production systems preferred.
