Job Description

A DevOps Engineer bridges the gap between software development and IT operations to improve the speed, efficiency, and reliability of software delivery and infrastructure management. This role involves designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, monitoring systems, and managing cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing and software releases. Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for consistent environment provisioning. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive measures to ensure reliability. Optimize cloud resource usage and implement cost-effective infrastructure solutions. Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve software delivery. Implement security best practices as part of the DevSecOps approach, including vulnerability scanning and compliance monitoring. Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. Automate repetitive tasks and processes to enhance operational efficiency. Maintain documentation and support disaster recovery plans.
