Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Senior DevOps Engineer

to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across our platforms. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automate processes, and support cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) with a focus on scalability, resilience, and cost optimization. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and more reliable software delivery. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Monitor and improve system performance, availability, and reliability using monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.). Implement security best practices across infrastructure, networks, and applications. Collaborate with developers to optimize application performance and deployment strategies. Manage Kubernetes clusters, container orchestration, and microservices deployment. Drive incident response and root cause analysis for production issues. Document processes, infrastructure, and best practices for internal use. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the DevOps team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar role. Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm). Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar). Strong background in Linux/Unix system administration and networking fundamentals. Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.). Familiarity with monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog). Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or similar). Knowledge of security, compliance, and disaster recovery best practices. Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred (Good to Have):

Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd). Exposure to serverless architecture. Knowledge of database administration (SQL/NoSQL). Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
