About the Role

:

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of our construction Company's digital infrastructure. Responsibilities include maintaining ERP systems, managing devices, securing data, overseeing firewalls, and controlling user access. The role requires a combination of IT support expertise and a DevOps mindset to ensure reliable, secure and efficient systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

ERP & Application Management

:

Oversee, monitor and troubleshoot company ERP systems to ensure smooth operation. Liaise with vendors to implement updates, patches, and issue resolutions. Optimize system performance and ensure maximum uptime and reliability.

Infrastructure & Hardware Maintenance

:

Oversee and maintain laptops, desktops and peripheral devices. Perform operating system installations, updates, patching and security hardening. Configure and deploy new devices for employees to ensure readiness and compliance.

DevOps & System Administration

:

Administer user accounts, permissions and access controls across systems. Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines where applicable. Monitor server performance, system logs, and ensure high availability. Automate routine tasks through scripting to improve efficiency and reliability.

Security & Data Protection

:

Ensure secure storage, backup and recovery of organizational data. Configure and manage firewalls, antivirus solutions, and security protocols. Implement and enforce best practices for data protection and information security.

Network & Cloud Management

:

Manage and support internal works, Wi-Fi and VPN connectivity. Assist in Administration and maintenance of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GWS or O365. Troubleshoot and resolve network and connectivity issues to ensure seamless operations.

Documentation & Support

:

Maintain comprehensive IT documentation, policies and standard operating procedures (SOP's). Provide technical support and guidance to employees across systems and devices. Manage IT onboarding and off boarding processes, ensuring secure access provisioning and deactivation.

Required Skills

:

Proficiency in Windows and Linux system administration. Hands-on experience with ERP Platforms and server management. Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and core security best practices. Familiarity with cloud environments and CI/CD methodologies. Excellent troubleshooting abilities and effective communication skills.

Preferred Skills

:

Experience working with construction-specific ERP platforms. Basic scripting capabilities for automation and system tasks. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with backup solutions and version control systems, particularly Git.

QUALIFICATION

:

Bachelor's / Master degree in Computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field. Professional certifications such as AWS, Azure, RHCE or CCNA are considered an advantage.

Pay: ?600,000.00 - ?700,000.00 per year
