Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior DevOps Engineer located in Surat. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing and automating our infrastructure, implementing continuous integration and deployment pipelines, as well as ensuring system reliability and performance. The role involves collaboration with development teams to optimize software delivery and providing system administration for our Linux-based environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or similar infrastructure engineering role. Azure Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with a wide range of Microsoft Azure services and architecture. Database Expertise: Advanced knowledge in administering and tuning PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis in cloud environments. IaC Proficiency: Deep expertise in Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates. Containers & Orchestration: Extensive experience with Docker, AKS, and Helm. CI/CD Pipeline Development: Proven track record with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. Microservices Management: Experience deploying and scaling Java/Spring Boot microservices on the cloud. Networking & Security: Proficiency in Azure networking (VNETs, NSGs) and application delivery via Application Gateway and Azure Front Door. Monitoring Stack: Hands-on with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, and Grafana. Scripting Languages: Proficient in Bash, PowerShell, or Python. Version Control: Expertise in Git and Git-based workflows (e.g., GitFlow).
Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with cloud cost optimization and budget management in Azure. Familiarity with automated testing integration and quality gates in CI/CD pipelines. Professional certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Solutions Architect Expert). Exposure to AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience working in high-availability e-commerce or financial services environments.
