Data Axle is headquartered in Dallas, TX, USA.Roles & ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for deploying, automating, and maintaining AWS and other models, as well as testing and support of a diverse range of environments. In addition, the position will be responsible for code and automate deployments adhering to industry wide standards.

• Design, code, and test major features, as well as work jointly with other team members to provide complex software developing Data Lake in cloud setting.
• Construct and design documents and documentation to aid in maintenance and code reuse.
• Interact with key partners and internal users regarding timelines, technical issues, and infrastructure integration.
• Collaborate with DevOps team to add instrumentation and monitoring to support production environments.
• Conduct code reviews in accordance with team processes and standards.
• Develop strong working relationships with managers and analysts and offer direction in the design and implementation of databases.
• Analyze data needs and independently develop logical and physical data models.
• Coordinate the implementation of database application components.
• Consult on all aspects of AWS cloud, Windows, Linux and/or other infrastructure offerings.
• Integrate with corporate data centers and/or third-party infrastructure such as VPN, Direct Connect, firewalls, etc.
• Manage shared cloud infrastructure services such as AWS organizations and accounts, VPC, IPAM, security groups, NACLS, routing, active directory, Federation, DNS, and others.
• Manage and support cloud infrastructure products and stacks.
• Partner with existing Enterprise IT organizations to integrate cloud infrastructure/network environment with corporate infrastructure/data center environment.
• Perform hands-on technical coaching to accelerate cloud infrastructure learnings across the organization.
• Pair with engineering teams to design and implement codified stacks that meet the needs of their applications.
• Operate and support cloud team products and legacy applications not operating in a full-stack operating model.
• Drive infrastructure as code and configuration management communities of practices across the organization.
