Senior DevOps Engineer

What will you do?


? Take responsibility and implement automated build and deployment processes


? Manage and create automated configuration for our Cloud environments


? Build cloud-based monitoring and alerting capabilities


? Maintain overall industry knowledge on latest trends, technology, etc.


? Act as the coach and mentor to team members and technical staff



Qualifications


What do you need to succeed


? Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or similar.


? 6+ years of experience with the following technologies/tools/fields: Elastic search, Messaging (Kafka, Redis etc), Monitoring and Visibility ? Experience with Linux


? Proven hands-on experience with CI/CD, preferably using Jenkins and ArgoCD


? Strong Shell/Bash/Python scripting skills and ansible experience


? Proven hands-on experience with Containers (Docker) and Orchestration tools (Kubernetes) and Helm


? Experience with infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform


? Strong working knowledge of AWS


? Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket)


? Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools


? Ability to clearly articulate design and implementation choices


? Team player and excellent interpersonal skills
