Develops and maintains appropriate data management systems and stores relevant data (e.g. drawings and other product/ solution related data).
- Manages research and development data.
- Ensures storing and retrieval of relevant documents, drawings, software sources (e.g source codes), etc. and defines rulles how to manage the data.
- Manages applications for database management.
- Maintains technical knowledge and understands emerging data concepts.
- Monitors and identifies trends in data usage and opportunities to reduce data redundancy.
- Monitors database usage and ensures effective capacity.
- Ensures appropriate linkages to existing database applications and to other data processing systems.
- Analyzes localization requirements and designs/adapts products and solutions accordingly.
