Job Description

Knowledge/Experience:

• Having 5-10 years of experience in enterprise application/API development using Core Java, Spring and related technologies.
• Should have strong knowledge and hands on experience in Core Java programming, design, OOPS concepts, libraries etc.
• Hands-on experience on building APIs is must.
• Expertise in mocking test cases and perf testing of solutions.
• Should possess basic Unix/Linux knowledge to be able to write and understand basic shell scripts and basic Unix commands
• Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL-Mongo, is a plus.
• Candidates with working knowledge on Docker / Kubernetes / OpenShift / Mesos is a plus.
• Have basic experience in Data Preparation Tools Experience with CI/CD build pipelines and toolchain \xe2\x80\x93 Git, BitBucket, TeamCity, Artifactory, Jira.
• Financial markets background is preferable but is not a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development of enterprise application in Java/Spring technologies in Financial Risk domain
• Employ standards, frameworks and patterns while designing and developing components.
• Develop high quality code employing software engineering and testing best practices.
• Hands on coding, authoring unit tests, performance tests and maintaining code quality.
• Familiar with Agile Development Life Cycle
• Good communication skills, has experience in working on complex and medium to large projects.
• The position is based in India and will require the candidate to work with various global teams.
• Qualifications: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering)
