We are hiring Senior Frontend Developer!!

Join the core group of founding members at the NTE India to build an organization from the ground up.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

The Front-End Web Developer provides expertise in the designing, developing, testing, implementation of the functionality and features on the Companys web sites that ensure the Companys objectives and projects while meeting or exceeding established goals

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: * Performs full system life cycle development of the Companys Commerce applications to build and/or enhance functionality for the Companys web sites.

• Documents coding updates appropriate to the change being made.
• Participates in an Agile team, contributing daily updates and communicating statuses regularly.
• Contributes estimates for project planning and agile story estimation for efforts contained in the eCommerce team.
• Contributes to the design, development and execution of unit, system, performance, automated regression, and integration testing to ensure that developed code is efficient and scalable.
• Works closely with business partners to understand proposed design solutions and ensure their feasibility. Recommends alternate solutions when needed as part of the agile process.
• Executes and offers suggestions on continual improvement efforts
• Ensures completed tasks meet deadlines and established standards including the business and audit control requirements and disaster recovery procedures.
• Resolves production problems and actively works to prevent them. Resolves service desk tickets in relation to the web site.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment to meet assigned deadlines.
• Keeps Scrum Master informed of important developments, potential problems, business project activities, and related information necessary for effective management.Coordinates and communicates plans and activities with others, as appropriate to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach.
• Communicates with supervisor to inform on statuses, and to build and execute on personal career growth initiatives.
• Performs related work as apparent or assigned.

• Bachelors degree in information technology or related field.
• At least 3 years of related eCommerce B2C work experience.
• At least 3 years of JavaScript experience
• At least 3 years of React.js experience
• Adobe Target experience preferred
• HCL Commerce experience preferred
• Experience with JavaScript dependency management tools like NPM
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and browser compatibility issues
• Experience on a multi-national Agile team
• Willingness to participate and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
• Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira to get Story information
• Exceptional communicator both orally and in writing, within the web team.
• Detail oriented
• Ability to effectively share knowledge with web team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, within the web team.
• Demonstrates Northern Tool + Equipments 12 Core Competencies.
