About the Role

Looking for a trim developer who will be responsible for end-to-end development, sourcing and execution of all garment trims. Person needs to have strong regional & landscape knowledge of trim manufacturing hubs, supplier capabilities, cost structure, compliance standards and emerging technology. The position ensures trims meet brand standards in quality, cost, aesthetics and timelines while supporting seasonal calendars.
What You'll Do

Trim Development & Innovation - Develop and align with design direction & product needs. Research new materials, finishes across global trim hubs.
Supplier & Region Expertise - Strong knowledge of regional trim hubs. Identify right regions-based lead time, cost & capabilities.
Sourcing & Costing - Source competitive trim options & benchmark regional costing norms with capabilities.
Calendar & Execution Management - Ensure trim developments, approvals and testing done on time.
Quality, Compliance & Sustainability - Ensure trims meet global compliances, standards to meet product quality stds.
Cross-Functional collaboration - work closely with design and partner with factories for right coordination & timely deliverables.
Who You Are
---------------
5 yrs. + experience in trims development and sourcing in fashion/apparel industry.
Proven experience in supplier development, negotiation and contract management.
Experience & visibility of global supplier landscape
Degree/Diploma in Fashion technology, Textile Eng., or related field.
Knowledge of sustainable materials and compliance standards.
Proficient in Excel, PLM systems, and technical specification software.
Exposure to multi-country sourcing & digital trim processes will be strong advantage.
Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities to meet deadlines.
Experience working with global brands/ large retailers preferred.
Highly motivated; demonstrates a "can-do" approach in being proactive with work assignments
Ability to interact with senior leaders and demonstrate a professional presence
