Ramboll is seeking a Structural Designer who has experience with Chemical, Power and/or Industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in modelling Steel structure and concrete structure. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Graduate / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 08+ years of experience in Power, Chemical, Industrial & Maufacturing facilities - Experience can include both Greenfield and Brownfield.
• Feasibility studies and preparing sketches for Drafting
• 3D modeling and developing 2D drawing are required
• 3D modelling based on other discipline inputs (Steel structures & Concrete Structure) is required
• Extraction of drawings from Revit Structure and develop the detailed drawings in Steel and Concrete
• Steel Structure / Concrete GA\'s - Prepare / check
• MTO / WCR preparation and checking
• Preparation and checking of connections drawings in Revit
• Checking of drawings/ documents with QA standards & procedures
• Coordination of design with designers, internal project team, and external clients
• Guiding a team of Designers & Draughtsman and responsible for quality of work
• Checking of IDC documents from other disciplines
• Participate / Guide the team as required during feasibility studies, installation studies, model reviews including constructability, etc.
• Coordinate with Discipline Engineers / designers / draughtsman
• Coordination with other Disciplines / Service area team members
• Ensures efficient utilization of software in the team
• Any other activities assigned by Lead or HOD
• When required act as focal for discipline specific projects / tasks / support
• Estimating and preparation of structural Deliverables / Work package documentation.
• Work with lead engineers to maintain and develop the company\'s quality standards
• Work in BIM Enviroment

Qualifications

• Ability to check and assure a cohesive design in accordance specifications, company standards, and other project documentation
• Ability to work with the client, project manager, and lead engineers and designers from other engineering disciplines for a cohesive design across all engineering disciplines
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Revit Structure in both steel and concrete with hands-on knowledge using the software. Experienced in the advanced use of Revit Structures and have the ability and willingness to develop Revit Standards and Best Practices for the team in collaboration with other senior designers, US, and other global offices
• Experience in Concept, FEED and Detail Engineering.
• Is theoretically sound in Steel and Concrete Structures and has a good practical understanding in terms of fabrication shop and site issues
• Hands on with International codes and standards, especially US way of working
• Hands on experience in 3D Model review software like Navisworks.
• Have hands on experience in ACAD and / or Micro-station.
• Experience in vendor drawing review, IDC of other discipline drawings & documents.
• Knowledge of other 3D Model software like E3D and Solidworks will be an added advantage, but will not be the main skill required
• Good English Skills, both written and oral
