Ramboll is seeking a Structural Designer who has experience with Chemical, Power and/or Industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in modelling Steel structure and concrete structure. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Key responsibilities, tasks & important relations

• Feasibility studies and preparing sketches for Drafting
• 3D modeling and developing 2D drawing are required
• 3D modelling (Steel structures & Concrete Structure)
• Extraction of drawings from Revit Structure and develop the detailed drawings
• Steel Structure / Concrete GA's - Prepare / check
• MTO / WCR preparation and checking
• Preparation and checking of connections drawings
• Checking of drawings/ documents with QA standards & procedures
• Coordination of design with designers, internal project team, and external clients
• Guiding a team of Designers & Draughtsman and responsible for quality of work
• Checking of IDC documents from other disciplines
• Participate / Guide the team as required during feasibility studies, installation studies, model reviews including constructability, etc.
• Coordinate with Discipline Engineers / designers / draughtsman
• Coordination with other Disciplines / Service area team members
• Ensures efficient utilization of software in the team
• Any other activities assigned by Lead or HOD
• When required act as focal for discipline specific projects / tasks / support.
• Implementing Lean in Projects.
• Estimating and preparation of structural Deliverables / Work package documentation.
• Work with lead engineers to maintain and develop the company's quality standards
• Work in BIM Enviroment

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Power, Chemical, Industrial & Maufacturing facilities - Experience can include both Greenfield and Brownfield.
• Ability to check and assure a cohesive design in accordance specifications, company standards, and other project documentation
• Ability to work with the client, project manager, and lead engineers and designers from other engineering disciplines for a cohesive design across all engineering disciplines
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in Revit Structure.
• Experience in Concept, FEED and Detail Engineering.
• Is theoretically sound and also has a good practical understanding.
• Well familiar with International codes and standards
• Hands on experience in 3D Model review software like Navisworks.
• Have hands on experience in ACAD and / or Micro-station.
• Experience in vendor drawing review, IDC of other discipline drawings & documents.
• Knowledge of other 3D Model software like Revit and Solidworks will be an added advantage.
• Good English Skills, both written and oral.

• Lead Engineer / Sr.Engineer / Engineer / Designers and / or HOD.
• Other departments for inputs, outputs, IDC, schedule, estimation, etc.
• Client / Service Areas.
• Team Members in case of clarifications / doubts.
• Timely delivery of projects with right quality, within budget and schedule.
• Minimise client complaints.
• Coordinate within team and other departments and projects to minimize quality errors claims.
• Continuously improve methods and lessons learnt to optimize client value.
• Compliance with Ramboll Values.
• A Good team player who communicates well, open / transparent and takes initiative.
• Takes ownership and responsibility for his / her deliverables.
• Works Independently with least support from others.
• Willing to learn and grow.
