You will be working as a Senior Designer and will be part of Electrification business for Distribution Solutions division, based in Nashik, India. In this role you will be reporting to Engineering Manager and will be responsible for creating, modifying and analyzing the design of equipment, systems or installations including specifications for manufacturing, fabrication or construction on assignments of medium to high complexity using established solutions. Your responsibilities Creating or reviewing the complete project documents for conformity, safety and quality assurance Reviewing and adjusting the design as necessary based on output of design to meet the contractual obligations Optimizing the designs to meet updated standards, incorporating new products, components and functionalities Seeking feedback from customer to drive and deliver improvement of technical solutions Contributing for the preparation of specific aspects of design assignments to meet the contractual obligations while adhering to relevant standards, safety and quality Performing project peer-reviews utilizing checklists for performing design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines Actively contributing and sharing the experiences in workshops pertaining to engineering design, tools and processes Creating standard processes and tools to promote the reuse of technical solutions, innovation and productivity in the design team Your background Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience Experience in EPLAN and AUTOCAD 3D user (software user) and experience in Medium voltage switchgear Experience in SAP for project execution Knowledge of numerical relays for implementing logics, philosophy and knowledge of current transformer selection Knowledge for preparation of scheme and BOM (Bill of Material) preparation More about us ABB\'s Distribution Solutions Division provides utility, industrial and commercial customers with safe, smart and sustainable technologies for the distribution of electricity.
