Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Senior Interior Designer located in Mumbai. The Senior Designer will be responsible for leading corporate interior projects from concept to execution,
Develop creative interior design concepts for diverse projects, including corporate offices, retail, and hospitality spaces.
Make critical decisions regarding project design elements, including color schemes, materials, and furniture.
Present design concepts clearly to clients, contractors, and suppliers during meetings.
Collaborate closely with architects, management, and external teams to ensure seamless communication and execution.
Manage projects from schematic design through completion, overseeing design development and ensuring adherence to design briefs.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors, serving as the main point of communication through all project phases.
Work closely with the principal of the firm and clients, from design conception to design development, including securing necessary permits.
Create design sketches, both by hand and digitally, using, sketchup or similar software.
Develop detailed design materials such as Material Booklets, Sample Boards, Schedules of Finishes, FF&E Booklets, and Furniture Concepts.
Qualifications
Ability to lead complex and large-scale corporate interior projects
Proficiency in using design and modeling software tools
Excellent communication, collaboration, and client management abilities
A degree in Architecture/Interior Design is mandatory
Knowledge of sustainability practices and technology integration in design is a plus
Familiarity with global and local design trends and cultural nuances
