About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and creative Fashion Designer with strong hands-on experience in Men's Ethnic Wear Clothing Design. The ideal candidate must have complete exposure to ethnic garment designing, including concept development, fabric selection, and design execution.

This role is strictly for candidates with 1-2 years of solid experience in Men's Ethnic Wear only (such as kurtas, sherwanis, bandhni, nehru jackets, etc.). Candidates with experience in western or women's wear will not be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop men's ethnic wear garments from concept to final execution Create detailed design sketches, color boards, and fabric stories Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments suited to ethnic wear Coordinate with the production and sampling team for prototype development Ensure designs align with brand aesthetics, trends, and market demand Review samples and suggest improvements in fit, detailing, and finish Maintain design documentation and seasonal collections Stay updated with men's ethnic fashion trends, fabrics, and techniques
Required Skills & Experience

1-2 years of full-time experience in Men's Ethnic Wear Designing (mandatory) Strong understanding of ethnic fabrics, silhouettes, embroidery, and detailing Proficiency in design tools such as CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop Good knowledge of garment construction and finishing Ability to convert ideas into commercially viable designs Strong attention to detail and creativity Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Candidate Profile

Hands-on experience in Men's Kurtas, Sherwanis, Jackets, and Ethnic Sets Experience working with ethnic manufacturers or brands Strong sense of color, fabric pairing, and traditional aesthetics
