Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create, modify, and analyze the design of equipment, systems, or installations, including specifications for manufacturing, fabrication, or construction. Each day, you will optimize designs to meet updated standards and incorporate new products, components, and functionalities. You will also showcase your expertise by applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects.

This role is contributing to the

Motion Traction Business

in

Bangalore

.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Hardware Design and development of converters for railways applications, like Traction Converter, Auxiliary convertor, and Battery chargers. Conceptualize new designs and translate concept into formal electronic design drawings. Review drawing/specifications and communicate requirements to vendors/ Customers. Understand and update all product Schematics and Other design documentation. Provide input and recommend changes to new and existing product designs. Knowledgeable and proficient in all Design Calculation and Simulations.

Qualifications for the role:

Requires a Bachelor's / Master's degree in electrical/Electronics/Power Electronics engineering with 3-6 years of related work experience Must have good experience in power electronics, traction convertor, Auxiliary convertor, railways applications. Power Engineering preferably applied to Railway products with 4-5 years of experience. Proficiency design software including MATLAB and E3 schematic etc. Able to perform and analyze results from simulations and Hand calculations.
