About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Senior Designer - Electrical

to lead our electrical design team in delivering innovative, compliant, and high-quality solutions. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end design process, ensuring all electrical systems meet project specifications, international engineering standards, and client expectations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including MEP, Interior Design, and Project Management, to ensure seamless integration and execution of design deliverables.

What makes the role successful:

Lead and manage a team of Electrical Design Engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight. Develop and refine design concepts based on project specifications and ensure all required technical documentation is prepared and maintained. Plan, allocate, and prioritize tasks within the design team to achieve project milestones efficiently. Review, check, and evaluate electrical designs and material specifications for tenders and project execution. Verify material data sheets and material take-off reports for accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Prepare and validate project estimates and cost projections, ensuring alignment with design and client expectations. Collaborate with drafting and design teams to ensure deliverables meet quality and timeline requirements. Document and report on meetings, project progress, design validations, and completion milestones. Incorporate feedback and learning from completed projects and client reviews to drive continuous improvement and design excellence. Guide and train the team on emerging technologies, design tools, and international standards to ensure continuous skill enhancement. Maintain safety and compliance, ensuring adherence to the company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management System.

What We're Looking For:

6-10 years of total experience, including 3-4 years in a Senior Design Engineer or equivalent role. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or related discipline). Proven team leadership and team administration skills, with the ability to mentor and manage design engineers effectively. Strong communication and collaboration abilities for cross-functional coordination. In-depth understanding of engineering standards, codes of practice, and industry best practices. Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit for electrical design and documentation. Familiarity with project management principles and procurement processes. Expertise in using specialized design software and tools relevant to electrical systems design. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver accurate and innovative design solutions.
