Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop home appliances from concept to production stage
Create product concepts, sketches, 3D models, and detailed drawings
Work closely with engineering, tooling, and manufacturing teams
Ensure designs meet safety, quality, cost, and regulatory standards
Review and approve design changes, prototypes, and samples
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for materials and components
Conduct design validation, testing, and improvements
Stay updated on market trends, materials, and new technologies
Support cost optimization and value engineering initiatives
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong experience in
home appliance product design
Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks / CATIA / Creo or similar)
Knowledge of plastics, sheet metal, tooling, and manufacturing processes
Understanding of BOM, drawings, and documentation
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
10-15 years of relevant experience in home appliance design
