Job Title:

Senior Design Engineer

Location:

Ernakulam, Kerala

Key Responsibilities:

Design machines from concept to release. Create 2D/3D drawings, assemblies, BOMs, and technical documentation. Perform mechanism design, engineering calculations, and optimization for cost and manufacturability. Collaborate with production teams and interface with customers.

Requirements:

Minimum

7+ years

of experience in machine design, preferably in packaging, automation, special purpose machines (SPM), or material handling systems. Expert in

2D (AutoCAD)

and

3D (SolidWorks preferred)

CAD. Experience in PDM environments is a plus. Pneumatic circuits & actuator selection Servo & motion systems Sheet metal, welded structures, machining & fabrication Material handling & robotic interfaces Hands-on experience working with manufacturing teams and suppliers. Ability to independently handle design projects from concept to final release. Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance stack-up, safety standards, and CE/GMP compliance.
