Industry: Material Handling Equipment / Heavy Engineering
GOURIKA India Limited, a leading manufacturer in material handling and industrial engineering solutions, is inviting applications from highly experienced and motivated professionals for the position of Senior Design Engineer at our Kalyani facility.

Key Responsibilities
o Design and develop material handling equipment including cranes, hoists, conveyors, lifting systems, and special-purpose machinery
o Perform detailed mechanical design, load calculations, and stress analysis in line with IS / ISO / FEM standards
o Design and integrate hydraulic systems (cylinders, power packs, valves, piping, and controls)
o Coordinate with electrical teams for motors, panels, sensors, PLC interfaces, and safety systems
o Prepare and review GA drawings, detailed manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical documents
o Provide technical support during manufacturing, assembly, testing, and commissioning
o Lead design reviews, resolve engineering issues, and optimize designs for cost and performance
o Guide and mentor junior design engineers

Required Skills & Expertise
o Strong expertise in material handling equipment design
o In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles
o Proven hands-on experience with hydraulic system design and troubleshooting
o Working knowledge of electricals related to industrial machinery
o Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent
o Familiarity with Indian and international engineering standards
o Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills

Qualifications & Experience
o B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (M.E. preferred)
o 8-15 years of relevant design engineering experience in material handling or heavy engineering industries
