Job Summary:

The Senior Design Engineer is responsible for leading the design, development, and improvement of products and systems in accordance with customer requirements, industry standards, and company objectives. This role involves translating conceptual ideas into detailed engineering designs, providing technical guidance to junior engineers, and supporting cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Following are the key job descriptions for the position of Senior Design Engineer at EMPD.

Casting 3D Models for Hand Mould Sand Casting Patterns / GDC & HPDC Dies development for motor DE & Body and NDE Covers, Terminal box, Terminal Cover and Fan cover parts.

Casting 2D drawing with detailed design and GD&T.

Machining 2D drawing with detailed design and GD&T.

Jigs and Fixture & Gauges Drawing for New Models and Existing motors mfg process.

Updating drawing against change request from production/QA.

Mechanical EBOM's.

Study of Customer SOR w.r.to motor mechanical design on mounting and performance.

Identification of CTQ's as per customer specification and review with NPD team.

Preparation of General Assembly Drawing (GAD) for new product and existing products.

Inspection of Pattern and components along with QA as per drawing before assembly. Inspection of assembled motor along with QA as per GAD.

Supporting new alternate design through innovative ideas for DFA / DFM & DFS.

Supporting for VAVE / CRE ideas and plan for build / validate and release.

Reverse Engg of bench marked sample motors and plan for equivalent designs with VAVE.

Any other work identified by NPD Manager / GM-NPD/Opns.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
