Job Summary

We are looking for a

Senior Design Engineer - Software

to join our

Design & Development - Electronics

team. The role involves

embedded software, Linux driver & BSP development, system architecture, and hardware-software integration

for advanced instrumentation products.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop

embedded firmware, drivers, BSP, and applications

Define

system-level software architecture

Embedded Linux programming and

UI development (Qt / GTK)

Linux kernel & driver development

Firmware and hardware integration including

ADC/DAC

Work with

ARM Cortex / SoC-based platforms

Interface development for

displays and peripherals

Debug low-level software and hardware issues Participate in

prototype development, system testing & pilot batches

Own projects end-to-end and

guide 1-2 junior engineers

Ensure compliance with

ISO & design processes

Prepare

technical documentation & production release reports

Meet

NPD/NPI project timelines

Required Skills

Embedded C & C++ (Strong hands-on)

Embedded Linux

(Yocto preferred)

Linux Driver Development (Kernel & BSP)

ARM Cortex / SoC programming Assembly level programming Communication protocols:

I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485, Ethernet, Wireless

Firmware & hardware integration (ADC/DAC) Display driver programming Debugging, testing & validation Version control:

GIT / SVN

Desired Skills

Hardware design exposure in

instrumentation products

Analog & digital circuit knowledge Hardware/circuit debugging experience Complete product lifecycle experience (Design ? Prototype ? Production) System-level testing of prototypes & pilot batches

Educational Qualification

BE / BTech in

ECE / EEE / Instrumentation / Telecom / CSE / Information Science

Embedded training on

ARM processors
