Key Responsibilities:
Independently design mechanical systems, manipulators, SPMs, and automation assemblies as per project requirements.
Work on 2D/3D modeling, detail drafting, and BOM creation in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Perform load calculations, motion studies, and interference checks.
Collaborate with project, purchase, and production teams for design feasibility and manufacturing support.
Review, validate, and optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
Guide and mentor junior engineers; delegate tasks effectively and monitor their progress.
Suggest and implement design improvements, standardization, and cost optimization.
Participate in client discussions for technical clarifications and PDI trials.
Provide on-floor assistance during assembly and commissioning when required.
