Qualification

B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in design and drafting of process equipment
Scope and Responsibilities

Prepare general arrangement (GA) drawings for process equipment. Develop bill of materials (BOM) for procurement and fabrication activities. Revise and update drawings as per manufacturing feasibility and customer feedback. Create accurate 2D and 3D models of process equipment using CAD tools. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including project managers, manufacturing, and quality teams. Ensure designs conform to industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
Requirements

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid Edge design software. Strong ability to prepare GA drawings, detailed fabrication drawings, and part drawings. Able to prepare detailed material take-offs from drawings, plans, and project specifications. Good command over drawing presentations, critical dimensioning, view presentations, and part list preparation. Sound working knowledge of manufacturing processes such as laser cutting, bending, welding, and basic machining. Hands-on experience in developing advanced assemblies and layouts as per GD&T standards, with proper surface finishes, welding details, and engineering notes. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving approach.
