Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the mechanical design and development of new products, improving existing designs, and mentoring junior engineers. This role requires advanced proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, a strong understanding of engineering principles, and hands-on experience in mechanical systems and product development lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead mechanical design activities from concept through production. Develop 3D models, 2D drawings, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA). Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Perform tolerance analysis, FEA (Finite Element Analysis), and DFM/DFA reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, quality, and procurement. Validate designs through prototyping, testing, and iteration. Support manufacturing during prototype and production builds. Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues, and implement effective solutions. Maintain product documentation including BOMs, drawings, and design history files. Mentor and guide junior engineers and review their work for accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 7+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in a product development environment. Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA). Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, GD&T, and mechanical systems. Experience with FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS) and simulation software is a plus. Knowledge of industry regulations and standards (e.g., ASME, ISO). Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently or in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in [Medical Industry, Food Industry ,Automation etc. Familiarity with PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter). Experience with rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing. Certification in Six Sigma, PMP, or similar is a plus.
