Job Description

Technical Skills Required:

Understand the customer requirement (specifications), Problem statement, needs of the customers, envisaging the needs of customers. Should be competent to use 3 D modelling software, preparing 2D & Assembly drawings from 3D Models. Working experience in CREO & Pro E, AutoCAD is essential. Knowledge on Standards (Drafting, Documentation, tests, reports, etc): Example MIL Standards, DO standards, AS 9100 Rev D FE Analysis: Should be capable of preparing specifications for analysis. Applications of 3D Models in Manufacturing: Should be aware on application of 3 D models in manufacturing, such as CNC, tooling, CMM, etc. Standards (Material): Be it a Raw material, material formats (sheets, plates, billets, tubes, rods, profiles etc), Standard parts, Off the shelf LRUs, which are to be used in product development, design engineer should be competent enough to identify the right material/BOI. Materials: Design engineer should have total knowledge of engineering materials, mechanical properties, processes, protection aspects etc. He should know importance of Materials for use in Airworthiness and commercial/Industry. Should have knowledge of applicable manuals in the field of work. Example, IMTAR21, DEFSTAN, CAR 21, FAR/CS 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 33.... (Desirable)
