Educational Requirements.

Minimum

Bachelor studies

in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience needed:

Should be hands-on in design & development of

construction / Light equipment(preferred)

or similar products.

Should have adequate knowledge on manufacturing (welding, materials, and heat treatment) and assembly processes, knowledge of castings/forgings is an added advantage.

Should have adequate knowledge on welding symbols & GD&T.

Should be hands-on in 3D Cad (preferably

Creo

and any PDM environment)

1. Part modelling & Detailing

2. Assembly and Assembly drawings

3. Weldments & Welding drawings

4. Surface modelling and Harnessing/routing are added advantage.

Should be thorough on engineering documentation / release processes.

Knowledge/exposure of Strength of Materials.

Experience/exposure to problem solving tools like

FMEA

, stack-up analysis.

Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant experience.
