Role Overview

The Senior Design Architect / Head Architect is responsible for leading the architectural design vision of projects from concept through execution. This role combines

hands-on design leadership

with

strategic oversight

, ensuring design excellence, technical integrity, and alignment with client and organizational goals.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Leadership

Lead the

conceptual and detailed design development

of architectural projects Establish and maintain a strong

design vision and architectural language

Review and approve design deliverables to ensure quality, creativity, and consistency Guide design decisions related to form, materials, sustainability, and user experience
Team & Studio Management

Mentor and guide architects, designers, and junior team members Assign tasks, manage design workflows, and conduct design reviews Foster a collaborative and innovative studio culture Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, landscape, interiors, etc.)
Project Oversight

Oversee projects from

concept, schematic design, design development, to construction documentation

Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and regulations Balance design intent with budget, schedule, and constructability constraints Participate in key client meetings and presentations
Client & Stakeholder Engagement

Act as the

primary design authority

in client interactions Translate client needs into compelling architectural solutions Present design concepts clearly through drawings, models, and visualizations
Strategic & Technical Responsibilities

Set architectural standards, design guidelines, and best practices Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and sustainable design practices Support business development through design proposals and competitions
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture 8-15+ years of professional architectural experience Strong portfolio demonstrating leadership in built or advanced design projects Proficiency in architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, etc.) Excellent design sensibility, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications

Professional licensure (or eligibility for licensure) Experience leading large or complex projects Strong understanding of sustainable and context-responsive design

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹95,000.00 per month
