Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused
Senior Dermatologist
to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions. The role also involves supervising junior doctors/therapists, maintaining high clinical standards, and contributing to the growth and reputation of the dermatology practice.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat dermatological conditions including acne, pigmentation, eczema, psoriasis, infections, hair loss, and nail disorders
Perform dermatological and aesthetic procedures such as chemical peels, PRP, microneedling, laser treatments, Botox, fillers, and minor dermatological surgeries (as applicable)
Develop personalized treatment plans and ensure follow-up care
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
Patient Care & Counselling
Provide detailed consultation and counselling on treatment options, outcomes, and post-procedure care
Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality at all times
Handle patient concerns and feedback professionally
Team & Operational Responsibilities
Guide and supervise junior dermatologists, cosmetologists, and nursing staff
Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, hygiene standards, and safety guidelines
Coordinate with front office and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Compliance & Quality
Ensure compliance with medical ethics, statutory regulations, and clinic policies
Stay updated with the latest advancements in dermatology and aesthetic medicine
Participate in internal training, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
Experience
Minimum 3+ years of post-qualification experience
Gender Preference
Female candidate (as per organisational/patient-care requirements)
Qualification
MD / DNB in Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy
Valid Medical Council registration
Skills & Competencies
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in dermatology
Hands-on experience with aesthetic and procedural dermatology (preferred)
Excellent communication and patient counselling abilities
Leadership and team management skills
High level of professionalism and ethical practice
Preferred Attributes
Experience in cosmetic/aesthetic dermatology clinics
Certification in laser or aesthetic procedures (added advantage)
Patient-centric approach with attention to detail
