Introduction: As Technical Lead, you will have sound knowledge and experience on Oracle Database. You will work with various federated teams and guide them data analysis and design.

• Design and Build complex code using Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
• Database Performance tuning.
• You will be required to lead the delivery of database access solutions spanning multiple application teams and technologies, providing support throughout the end-to-end data access development lifecycle.
• Work collaboratively with Developers, Designers, Business Analysts & Delivery leads to deliver complex solutions

What will you be doing?

• Development using Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Performance Tuning & design documents [60%]
• Inputs to the functional document creation. [10%]
• Creating technical delivery plan [10%]
• Stakeholder management [10%]
• Code reviews and sign-off [10%]
• Create solution as per Barclays standards and socialise the solution with relevant stakeholders
• Study various strategy documents available within the organization
• Inputs to the other teams like SIT, Production Support Teams etc.

What We’re Looking For

• Should have strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio ETL tool, Unix scripting and Hadoop or Teradata.
• Ability to mentor junior team members on technical skills
• Excellent problem solving skills and provide innovative solutions to technical problems and provide expertise and continuity across both the business solution and technical solution
• Builds effective relationships with all stakeholders including federated project teams, BU SPOC, GIS etc
