Senior Database Lead

About your role:

As a Database Analysis - Advisor I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and security of our database systems. Your expertise will help drive the design, analysis, and maintenance of databases to meet critical business requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database issues, implement best practices, and ensure data integrity. This role provides an opportunity to leverage your skills to significantly impact our database operations and overall business success.

What you'll do:

Lead the analysis of database systems to ensure efficiency and reliability. Design and implement database systems to meet complex business requirements. Monitor and maintain database performance, security, and integrity. Collaborate with development teams to resolve database issues and optimize performance. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database systems and processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the database team. Experience you'll need to have:

6+ years of experience in database analysis 3+ years of experience in SQL or database management systems 3+ years of experience in data modeling 3+ years of experience in database performance tuning 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

Experience with database management tools Knowledge of data warehousing concepts Familiarity with distributed database systems Understanding of database security best practices Certification in database management
