What is the role about?

As a Senior DBA, you will:

Administer and support

Oracle 19c databases

in

RAC and Data Guard

environments Manage

PostgreSQL databases (10.x-15.x)

across on-prem and cloud platforms Support

24x7 production operations

with strict SLAs Perform

performance tuning, SQL optimization, and capacity planning

Plan and execute

database migrations, upgrades, patching, and DR strategies

Design, deploy, and manage

production-grade Kubernetes clusters

Deploy and support

database workloads on Kubernetes

Implement

monitoring, alerting, backup, and recovery

strategies Work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and onsite stakeholders

Your Role at a Glance

We are looking for a

Senior Database Administrator

with strong expertise in

Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes

, backed by solid

Linux administration

skills.

In this role, you will manage and support highly available, mission-critical production environments, handle complex escalations, and ensure database reliability, performance, and security across on-premise and cloud platforms (OCI / AWS / Azure).

Required skills and qualifications

Mandatory Technical Skills

Oracle DBA expertise (19c, RAC, Data Guard, Performance Tuning) PostgreSQL Administration (Backup, Replication, PITR, Migration) Kubernetes (Production clusters, networking, storage, monitoring) Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills Scripting experience (Shell / Bash / Python)

Cloud & Infrastructure

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS/Azure exposure Experience with cloud networking, security, and HA architectures Hands-on experience with backup, monitoring, and logging tools Familiarity with RDS / PaaS database services and Multi-AZ setups
