Designation: Senior Database Administration:
Responsibilities: We are looking for an outstanding Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to support databases, many of them considered critical in maintaining, provisioning, and monitoring Sabre’s global network. The candidate will play a key role in all new departmental initiatives while continuing to ensure the availability/stability of existing functionality.
This position is in a centralized database administration team, which provides 7x24 support in test/cert/prod environments.
: Oracle DBA with minimum of 5 yrs. experience on Oracle Database version 11g and 12c, hands on Oracle RAC, Golden Gate and Data Guard.
Job Requirements
Skills:
- 5 to 7 years of experience with 24x7 Production and development databases.
- BS/BA or MS/MA in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related disciplines preferred, or equivalent years of experience
- Database admin at mission critical web-service company with high availability.
- 4 - 5 yrs experience in RAC.
- 2 - 3 yrs experience of Data Guard and Golden Gate.
- 1-2 yrs eperince in Cloud database technologies(AWS, Azure,Oracle)
- Other RDBMS technologies MySQL, MS Sql, Informix preferred.
- Good to have cloud certification (AWS, Azure, etc)
- DBA certification required
- Strong English speaking, writing and communication skills
