Role

1. Develop Analytics & Data Science initiatives for the organization by leveraging data to discover new knowledge/ opportunities across all business functions.
2. Conceive, plan and execute the initiatives. Build and implement machine learning and predictive models. Interpret and analyse data problems. Supplement Existing Subject Matter Expertise with Statistical Thinking.
3. Test performance of data-driven products, visualize data and create reports aligned with the projects. Communicating complex insights through data visualization, quickly and concisely.
4. Review performance of ongoing projects and perform performance tuning wherever required
5. Ensure adherence to project timelines, share regular status update with the all relevant stakeholders.

A Day in the life

The day will look like with responsibilities where you are collaborating with the stakeholders to understand:
1. business objectives, requirements to plan, design and implement data analytics driven solutions.
2. To understand the data sources, various applications & its integration and work / contribute on IS strategy making and implementation.

Academic Qualification & Experience

PG / Degree in Maths / Statistics / Economics / Computer Science

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Experience mapping business question and translate the client requirement to data mining and draw insights

Should be comfortable with Python, R, SQL, Tableau/Power BI/others

Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications

Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.), building models for data analysis and their real-world advantages/drawbacks

Strong experience in supervised and unsupervised clustering, regression and classification, including Bayesian methods, Parameter estimation, Support Vector Machines, Neutral networks, decision trees, reinforcement learning.
