About The Job:

• This individual will be part of the Data Technology group within the Digital Engineering Solutions team, helping to drive strategic Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) initiatives using cuttingedge data technologies and analytics to deliver actionable business insights and robust solutions for AEC professionals and client outcomes.
• The Data Technology group will lead the firm in AEC-focused Business Intelligence and data services by providing architectural guidance, technological vision, and solution development.
• The Data Technology group will specifically utilize advanced analytics, data science, and AI/ML to give our business and our products a competitive advantage.
• It includes understanding and managing the data, how it interconnects, and architecting & engineering data for self-serve BI and BA opportunities.
• This position is for a person who has demonstrated excellence in data science capabilities, experienced with data technology and processes, and enjoys framing a problem, shaping and creating solutions, and helping to lead and champion implementation.

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop and deploy predictive, prescriptive, and advanced analytics models using statistical, optimization, and machine learning techniques to solve complex AEC business problems.
• Conduct rigorous exploratory data analysis (EDA) and apply statistical methods to uncover trends, relationships, and patterns in data.
• Design and implement optimization models, including linear programming, mixed-integer programming, and other advanced mathematical optimization techniques.
• Design and implement machine learning models and statistical methods tailored to domainspecific challenges.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, and domain experts to frame problems and deliver actionable solutions.
• Translate complex data science and optimization solutions into actionable business insights through effective communication and visualization.
• Lead the evaluation and integration of advanced statistical software and tools to expand analytical capabilities.
• Ensure adherence to ethical standards in AI and data science, maintaining transparency and accountability in all activities.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments and advancements, including new and emerging technologies & best practices and new tools & software applications
• Assist with the development of documentation, standards, best practices, and workflows for data technology hardware/software in use across the business.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5 - 8 Years

Mandates:

• Statistical Modeling

• Big Data Platforms (e.g.,Azure Databricks)
• Distributed Computing (e.g., Apache Spark)

• Experience with StatsModels, SciPy, PuLP, Pyomo
• Knowledge of Genetic Algorithms, Simulated Annealing
• Familiarity with New and Emerging Technologies
• Experience in the AEC Industry
• Ethical Standards in AI and Data Science

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong expertise in statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, machine learning and advanced inferential and analytics techniques.

• Knowledge of data visualization tools and methods to present complex findings effectively to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in designing and conducting controlled experiments (e.g., A/B testing) and interpreting their results.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address technical challenges effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to build strategic relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners.
• Strong critical thinking skills to generate innovative solutions and improve business processes.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Detail oriented with the ability to assist with executing highly complex or specialized projects.

Minimum:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 6 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
