Role Overview:

We are looking for a

Senior Data Entry Operator

to manage and maintain daily stock, inventory, and production data for our garment manufacturing unit. The role primarily focuses on

stock and inventory data management (80%)

, along with

basic accounting entries and support (20%)

. The ideal candidate should be accurate, detail-oriented, and familiar with garment production or factory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Record and update

daily stock inwards/outwards

for raw materials, fabrics, accessories, and finished goods. Maintain and update

inventory registers

, material issue slips, and stock transfer details. Prepare

daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports

for management. Coordinate with

store, production, and dispatch teams

to verify stock movement and reconcile data. Track and record

purchase receipts, job work material movement, and consumption reports

. Assist accounts team with

basic accounting entries

, such as purchase bills, sales invoices, and payment vouchers. Update and maintain

ERP / Excel

accurately and in a timely manner. Support in

physical stock verification

and assist in reconciling variances. Ensure proper documentation and digital filing of all store-related records. Generate

MIS reports

related to stock and consumption for management review.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Graduate (preferably in

Commerce, Business, or related field

).

3-6 years of experience

in data entry or inventory management in a

garment manufacturing environment

. Proficient in

Excel and ERP software

. Good knowledge of

stock and material movement processes

. Basic understanding of

accounting entries

and documentation. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.

Preferred:

Prior work in

apparel manufacturing units is preferable

.
