Job Details:
Job Summary:Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra). Strong experience with AWS database services (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift). Advanced skills in performance tuning, data modeling, and query optimization. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation. Familiarity with Kafka, streaming technologies, and cloud-native architectures.
Performance Optimization Conduct advanced query tuning, indexing strategies, and resource optimization for high-volume transactional systems. Monitor database health and proactively address performance bottlenecks.
Cloud & Modernization Initiatives Lead database migration projects to AWS (RDS, Aurora, Redshift) and other cloud platforms. Implement automation for schema changes, backups, and disaster recovery using tools like Liquibase, Terraform, and AWS-native services.
DevOps Integration Integrate database operations into CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments. Promote Infrastructure-as-Code and automation-first approaches for database provisioning and configuration.
Incident Response & Monitoring Develop observability dashboards (Prometheus/Grafana) and alerting mechanisms for proactive monitoring. Lead incident response and root cause analysis for critical database issues.

Minimum job requirements:Bachelor's degree with five (5)+ years of relevant experience.
