Responsibilities & Deliverables


Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support analytics, reporting, and operational data needs. Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all stages of the data lifecycle. Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency in cloud and hybrid environments. Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and documentation to support data governance and compliance standards. Integrate data from various internal and external sources, including APIs, databases, and third-party platforms. Support real-time and batch data processing using modern data engineering tools and frameworks. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Required Skills & Experience



3

+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or related roles

.

5

+ years' experience supporting global data governance and data management initiatives,

preferably

in banking, fintech or other highly regulated industries.

Strong

p

roficiency

in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms

(e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP), especially with data services like Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or BigQuery . Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse).

Experience with ETL/ELT tools and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow,

dbt

).

Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and metadata management practices. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in banking (e.g., GDPR, BCBS 239) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications



B achelor's degree in Computer Science , Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field ( Master's degree is a plus). Strong understanding of data governance principles, metadata management, data quality, and data management frameworks. Proven ability to support strategic implementation, manage change, and deliver results under tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, legal, privacy, risk, and security teams. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Professional certifications in data governance (e.g., CDMP, ADGP, IGP) are advantageous .
