CTG is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support our client in designing and building a next-generation Radiology data warehouse and analytics environment using Microsoft Fabric. This role is ideal for a highly skilled data engineer who thrives in cloud-native architectures, enjoys solving complex data challenges, and wants to contribute to analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives in a healthcare setting.

What You'll Do
Build scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using best-practice engineering and governance standards.
Design and optimize data models (dimensional/star schema, semantic models) to support analytics and reporting.
Integrate enterprise and Radiology data sources into the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
Apply data quality, metadata, and lineage principles to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, analytics, clinical stakeholders).
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation.
Create technical documentation and evaluate emerging technologies to strengthen the data platform.
What You Bring
Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric (Data Warehouse, Data Pipelines, OneLake, Real-Time Analytics, Power BI integration).
Strong SQL/T-SQL experience (5+ years).
3+ years building automated data pipelines (batch/streaming).
Experience with Python for automation and data wrangling.
Understanding of CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, IaC concepts.
Knowledge of healthcare data (clinical/imaging/research) and HIPAA/PHI best practices.
Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.
Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent hands-on experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $63.00 to $74.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
