Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and manage robust, scalable, and secure ETL/ELT pipelines using modern tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, DBT, Airflow).
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Build and maintain data models, data marts, and data lakes to support BI and ML workloads.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across platforms.
Optimize performance of data workflows, queries, and storage.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and documentation for data pipelines.
Guide and mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and architecture discussions.
Support the integration of structured and unstructured data from various internal and external sources (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, IoT, APIs).
Skills:
Proficiency in SQL and programming languages like Python or Scala.
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, AWS, GCP).
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data architecture.
Familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect) and CI/CD workflows.
Experience with data governance, cataloging, and security practices.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience required
