Job Title & Organization Senior Data Analyst, Central Data Operations, PTC Your Impact As a key member of the data governance team within Central Data Operations (CDOPS), Senior Data Analyst will undertake administrative management of data, such as detection and correction of data-quality issues, process incoming data, and data standardization. In this role you will build strong alignment with business stakeholders and IT team, to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance. Responsibilities include: Collabarate with different teams like Salesforce, Data Integration, BI to engage in the ongoing and detailed evaluation of data quality in the system Communicate and investigate unexpected changes in metrics and trends. Performs detailed data analysis activities and prepares and applies mass data fixes using available tools. Promotes best practices that explains the impact of a governance framework Identify, analyze, monitor, document, and communicate, data issues and suggest remediation actions Partner with our internal data and analytics teams and identify gaps and opportunities where we can build or enhance our analytical capabilities. Contribute towards defining business data requirements and work with the business and IT teams to resolve data issues Coordinate with the developers to help specify and maintain data dictionaries and ensure data consistency across different systems. Profile the data to identify the data patterns, and uncover data discrepancies You will create best practices in tools and visual technologies to help evolve the project dashboards to provide essential data for project monitoring. Collaborate with multiple partners to define critical metrics, align on approaches, and audit data to ensure we are providing an accurate and 360 view of customer data Conduct data analysis, identify data fields, and maintain mapping documents Support with data validation, quality issues, integrity, accuracy, consistency and works to resolve issues related to data elements including de-duplication and cleaning Work cross-functionally on development and implementation of projects related to Central Data Operations and ensure the success of projects/programs Skills and knowledge most relevant to the job: We believe that diversity of experience and background leads to better ideas and a stronger company. Strong understanding of various master data domains (Customer, Product, etc..) and prior experience in data analysis, trend analysis, problem-solving and data quality Technical and data management skills with good understanding of data structure and business processes Proficientin writing SQL queries to identify and flag data incoherencies Model and simulate potential data quality issues for product development Data profiling, data discovery, data querying, data manipulation and enhancement to correct common data issues using SQL and other tools Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools (preferably OAC, Qlik) Experience processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis Understanding of business operations and ability to improve processes Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently in a team environment with minimal direction by management Extremely detail oriented, goal focused, organized and ability to consistently meet or exceed expectations Basic Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree, advanced preferred, in scientific or business disciplines 3+ years of data management / data governance / master data management 5+ years of data analysis and data quality management experience CRM platform - Salesforce experience needed Ready to work in overlap timings with EST.
