Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to support our Application Rationalization initiative, focused on migrating analytics solutions from SAP HANA to Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data visualization, dashboard development, and data modeling, with a solid understanding of enterprise data platforms and cloud-based analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.

Work closely with data engineers and architects to ensure seamless integration of data from Snowflake.

Migrate existing reports and dashboards from SAP HANA to the new Snowflake-based architecture.

Optimize Power BI reports for performance by applying best practices in data modeling, DAX and query design.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all reporting solutions.

Document solutions and provide training or support to end users as needed.

Required Qualifications:

BE/ BTech - Any Field

3+ years of experience in Power BI development, including dashboard/report creation and data modelling.

In-depth knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS), Object-Level Security (OLS), DAX, Power Query (M language), and advanced data modeling techniques.

Experience working with diverse data sources such as Snowflake, SAP HANA, and others using Import, Direct Query, and Composite modes.

Proven expertise in performance tuning and optimization within Power BI, especially in Direct Query scenarios.

Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries.

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to data accuracy and usability.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in application rationalization or cloud migration projects.

Knowledge of Azure Data Services or other cloud platforms.

Understanding of supply chain or enterprise business processes is a plus.
