We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Product & Engineering Operations team. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who excels at transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business growth, enhance product performance, and improve marketing effectiveness. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Security, to build a data-driven approach that influences key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & InsightsAnalyze complex datasets from Product, Engineering, and Marketing to uncover trends, correlations, and opportunities for growth.
Develop predictive models to anticipate product adoption, customer behavior, and operational inefficiencies.
Provide actionable insights independently to improve product features, customer satisfaction, and marketing strategies.
Reporting, Visualization & AutomationBuild and maintain real-time dashboards and automated reports using tools like Power BI, Excel, and JIRA.
Present findings through visually compelling reports and presentations that communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
Automate data collection and reporting processes to minimize manual effort and enhance data accuracy.
Collaboration & CommunicationPartner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Security teams to ensure alignment of metrics and reporting.
Facilitate data-driven decision-making across teams, supporting strategic initiatives.
Continuous ImprovementWork with the Operations team to identify gaps in data processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to developing data analytics best practices within the team.
Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Experience5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in Product, Engineering, or Marketing environments.
Proven experience with statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and building dashboards.
Technical SkillsAdvanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools.
Experience with JIRA, Salesforce, and related systems.
Strong knowledge of statistical models and techniques for analyzing data correlations and making predictions.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
Analytical SkillsAbility to quickly understand domain-specific challenges and make meaningful insights.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Communication SkillsStrong written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex findings to various stakeholders.
