The Role

: Manages and analyzes data for South East Asia operations and carbon activities, coordinating with team and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:




Manage and analyze master data, including cleaning, duplicate checks, updates, user access, and user roles for SEA operations and carbon activities. Manage and assign data validation work to data validators and Program Support officers (PSOs) Design and implement a comprehensive reporting system. Perform QA/QC of data uploads from field teams, involves daily oversight as necessary. Communicate errors in data to Director - Operations and Country Managers in a detailed manner to support full resolutions and reduction of future errors. Develop weekly and monthly reports on Operations and Carbon activities for SEA countries and document project progress. Support data warehouse in identifying and revising reports to produce the necessary information. Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports. Provide technical expertise/inputs in data storage structures, data mining, and data validation. Draw random data samples, following instructed parameters, upon request. Provide oversight and fulfill data requirements for Validation and Verification Bodies (VVBs) before and during monitoring periods. Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques. Developing and implementing data analyses and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Coordinate with Bridge IT team and Country team to resolve errors. Organise regular trainings for country teams on data validation and surveys.


Qualifications or specialized knowledge/experience required:





Bachelor's degree at a minimum preferably focused on Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science with a master's degree(s) in relevant fields advantageous, depending on the field of study and experience gained.

Ideally, 5+ years of work experience as a data analyst or related field, with direct work experience in M&E (Monitoring and Evaluation) strongly preferred.

Experience designing and engaging MIS to turn large databases into usable information.

SQL programming experience and/or Python programming experience is preferred.
