WHAT YOU'LL DO We are seeking exceptional candidates with experience and passion to fill a Sr Analyst position in BCG GAMMA RUN team. This global business unit is an integral part of BCG's strategy to deliver superior value and sustained impact. The unit has responsibilities for ensuring a structured handover post implementation, understanding the entire digital solution, managing ongoing support operations along with maintaining healthy client relationship. All of BCG's core product capabilities are housed within the business unit including project management, design, Software & Data Engineering, support and data Science/Analytics experts who work in deep collaboration with BCG practice areas, consulting teams and clients. This team, of highly motivated and insightful colleagues, will provide an opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment supported by a global management consulting firm, which is the world's leading advisor on business strategy. You will join an expanding team which support multi-million-dollar BCG products and projects at our client organizations. You will join the Gamma RUN team to manage the maintenance of the products/projects for our clients. YOU'RE GOOD AT Delivering original analysis and insights to case teams, typically owning all or part of an analytics module whilst integrating with a case team Establishing credibility by thought partnering with BCG teams on analytics topics drawing conclusions on a range of external and internal issues related to your module Assisting clients with issues pertaining to the Data models by identifying code defects and fixing them within SLA timelines Collaborating with cross functional team members like Software Engineers or Data Engineers to resolve critical client issues Independently manage any Model retraining schedules and/or Model drift tasks. Experience in Monitoring and evaluating the existing machine learning models Has in depth understanding of Git tools and PR Management. Communicating analytical insights through sophisticated synthesis and packaging of results (including PowerPoint presentations, dashboards, documents, and charts) with consultants collecting, synthesizing, analyzing case team learning & inputs into new best practices and methodologies Broad expertise in at least one analytics topic or platform Executing analytical approach and creating defined outcome contributing to approach selection Providing mentorship to your own/working (i.e., project) team members Able to represent Gamma R team (and in extension - BCG) in front of the clients on regular calls during the RUN phase of the AI Solutions Clear and confident communication. Able to deliver messages in a concise manner with strong and effective written and verbal communication. Analytical Thinking. You should be strong in analytical solutioning with hands on experience in advanced analytics delivery, through the entire life cycle of analytics. Strong analytics skills with the ability to develop and codify knowledge and provide analytical advice where required. YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) Bachelor/Master's degree in a field linked to business analytics, statistics or geo-statistics, economics, operations research, applied mathematics, computer science, engineering, or related field required advanced degree preferred At least 5-7 years of relevant industry work experience providing analytics solutions in a commercial setting Prior work experience in a global organization, preferably in a professional services organization in data analytics role to join our ranks. Intermediate level of statistics, the stability to explain the concepts and methodologies and apply them in a real - life situation. Experience in hands-on data mining and predictive modelling experience (time series forecasting, clustering/ classification/regression using decision trees, linear/logistic regression, random forest, boosting algorithms, etc.) At least one tool in each category. Programming language - Python and Pyspark (Must have), (R Or SAS), SQL (Must have) Gurobi, ortools, etc Data Visualization (Tableau, QlikView, Power BI) , Data management (using Alteryx, MS, or any RDBMS) Hands-on experience in building analytical solutions and delivering tangible business value for clients (in one or more of the below use cases) Price optimization, promotion effectiveness, Product assortment optimization and Sales-force effectiveness, Personalization/Loyalty programs, Labor Optimization CLM and revenue enhancement (segmentation, cross-sell/up-sell, next product to buy, offer recommendation, loyalty, LTV maximization and churn prevention) Our data analytics and artifical intelligence professionals mix deep domain expertise with advanced analytical methods and techniques to develop innovative solutions that help our clients tackle their most pressing issues.
